Hi, was wondering if the Thule model will work with a 2016 Jeep Cherokee Trailhawk, and if yes, is there anything else you could add? Perfect fit, kinda works, or any issues? Thank you.

Rooftop tents like the Thule Approach S Rooftop Tent # TH43XE you referenced will require your vehicle to have factory installed raised rails that run front to back and crossbars running between them for the tent to mount to. If you have a naked roof the clip on roof racks will not be strong enough to support the tent, thus making it incompatible.

The only other requirement you'll have for mounting this tent is a minimum crossbar spread of 32". if you do not currently have crossbars on your 2016 Jeep Cherokee Trailhawk then I recommend the Thule WingBar Evo Crossbars # TH711420 with the Evo Raised Rail Feet for Thule Crossbars # TH710401. These feet offer a very fast and simple connection for your crossbars.
