Recommended Fold Down Steps For A 2010 Keystone Cougar Fifth Wheel Trailer

Question:

I have a 2010 Cougar fifth wheel and want to install fold down steps. The door frame width is 25 1/4 inches and the bottom of door to the ground is 33 inches. I am looking for recommendations for stairs that will fit my trailer.

We have just what you need with the MORryde StepAbove RV Steps # MR98RR. These steps fit a door width of 23-3/4" - 26-1/4" and an entry height of 30" - 33-1/2".

These steps have a simple twist handle to unlatch and fold down the steps. There are pull pins in the hinge of these steps to allow you to remove the steps when in close quarters that won't allow for the steps to fold down. I will say having tested these out that the pull pins are in pretty tight and might be a bit of a challenge to put back in once removed.
