Dimensions of Dutton-Lainson Hand Winch with Automatic Brake 1,200 Lbs

Question:

I have a 1998 starcraft spacemaster. My winch is skipping when lowering the top. I was thinking about getting this to replace it. My question is can this be mounted where the old winch was? Under the camper in the rear.

I have attached for you below a dimensional drawing of the Dutton-Lainson Hand Winch with Automatic Brake part # DL14934 which you can then use to determine fit and compatibility. I am not sure how your existing winch is setup but you can use the winch for lifting operations per the manual so as long as you have space you should be able to use this for what you need.
