Replacement Winch For 1998 Starcraft Ventura 2406 Pop Up Camper

Question:
I wanted to know if this part would be a good replacement for my winch. I have a 1998 Starcraft Ventura pop up model # 2406. Thank you for your time. It is a single cable design and the winch is mounted to the front of the pop up trailer.

The Dutton-Lainson Hand Winch # DL14934 works as a replacement for the old Shelby 5438 that has been found on other 1998 Starcraft pop ups. If your 1998 Starcraft Ventura 2406 has the same Shelby 5438 than you should not have any issues replacing it with the Winch # DL14934.
