I have a Honda CRV 2015. Im interested in the Thule OutWay Platform Trunk Bike Rack. The Review video mentions that this style rack may damage the spoiler. The spoiler on the CRV is not metal, but it measures only 1/2 inch out from window. Id appreciate your advice on whether the Thule OutWay Platform Trunk Bike Rack would be suitable and safe for my car. Thanks!

I do have a trunk bike rack solution for your 2015 Honda CR-V. Unfortunately, it will not be the Thule OutWay Platform Trunk Bike Rack for 2 Bikes - Adjustable Trays, part # TH65JV. I checked Thule's website, they do not have any trunk mounted bike racks that are compatible with your vehicle.

My trunk bike rack recommendation will be a traditional trunk bike rack. It is the Yakima FullBack 2 Bike Rack - Trunk Mount - Adjustable Arms, part # Y02634. It comes with a cable and lock to secure the rack to your vehicle. If your vehicle has the automated rain sensor wipers, you cannot use this rack. In addition, it is recommended that you do not use this rack in inclement weather because your rear wipers automatically turn on when the car is put into reverse.
