E1 Code on Fogatti RV Tankless Water Heater
Updated 07/07/2025 | Published 02/21/2022 >
Question:
Could I get an E1 code if I let it run out of propane and replace the propane and turn it on again? Could it be air in the line and get the E1 code?

For the Fogatti RV Tankless Water Heater, # LSB64FR an E1 Code is indicating an ignition failure or accidental flame off during ignition. What you describe can cause an E1 Code to occur. If your Fogatti RV Tankless Water Heater is not receiving enough LP pressure, the ignition function would fail and display an E1 error.

I just installed a brand new Fogatti model number FS07B1S. I’ve checked and double checked, and everything is installed properly. However, I continuously get a E1 code saying it’s not getting enough gas. It does initially light and I see the flame for a second before it cuts off with the error code, showing on the screen inside. I have changed the regulator hose and tank to be sure it was not a source problem. It is not. Propane tank is full and functioning properly. I also checked to ensure no rubber gasket in line at connection (as directed in an online video). Not sure what else to do and I’m at wits end, having invested in this new product following online recommendations only to find it does not work. Any suggestions?
