Assuming your 2016 Ram 2500 doesn't have the OEM puck system in the bed, to install a gooseneck hitch you'd need the hitch head assembly such as the B&W Turnover Ball # BWGNRK1384 which would bolt up to the existing rail assembly under the bed of your truck. You'll need to cut a 3-1/2 inch diameter hole in the bed using a hole saw like what's included with # PT34VR.
If you'd like to install a 7-way trailer connector in the truck bed so you don't have to run the trailer connector up over the tailgate, you can install one using part # C56000.
The Curt # C60618 ball is intended for Ram trucks equipped with the factory tow/prep package with the pucks in the bed.
