recent msg on curt trailer wiring for 2018 acura rdx had problem w/backup warning system had been off for battery disconnect wiring didnt interfere. what benefit does the T-one Item # 118569 have over the curt wiring?

In my experience I have found that the Tekonsha harnesses like the T-One Vehicle Wiring Harness # 118569 seem to have less issues than units like the Curt T-Connector Vehicle Wiring Harness # 56008. I feel that Tekonsha uses a more durable power module that holds up better to road vibration and shock inside the vehicle.
I also see that the Tekonsha harness for your 2018 Acura RDX added a seperate ground wire rather than using the ground wire in the factory harness. I have linked the installation videos for both below to help you see the slight difference with the installation due to the additional ground wire.
