If you are using an on demand water heater like the Excel RV Tankless On-Demand Water Heater # EX93FR or # LSB44FR, then you are not going to need a water tank.
These type of water heaters heat the water up instantly without the need of a storage tank. When a hot water faucet is turned on, cold water flows through a heat exchanger in the unit, and either a natural gas burner or an electric element heats the water.
