Can 12 inch Trailer Wheel and Tire Get Replaced with 14 inch Wheel and Tire
Published 02/15/2022 >
Question:
Hello, I have a Northern Tool 5x8 trailer with 12 wheels and tires 5 x 4 1/2 bolt pattern. I would like to increase the wheel and tires to 14. Is this possible and what would you recommend? I think I would have to use a wheel spacer for the 14. Is that ok? Thanks!

We can't advise using wheel spacers on trailer wheels but we do have 14 inch trailer wheels with tires that have the correct bolt pattern you need of 5 on 4-1/2 inch. You could potentially use the # AM32131 which has a width of 8.1 inches and an outer diameter of 26.3 inches.
You'd have to compare that to the available space on your trailer's wheel well.
