What Cargo Bag Installs Directly to My Bare Roof on My 2013 Kia Soul?

Looking for an inexpensive roof rack to go with this soft bag. Considering the rhino 2500, which only has cross bars and no side bars. How would I strap down the sides of this soft carrier in this case? 2013 Kia Soul w bare roof. Can the CS94FR be used without a roof rack? Any other inexpensive/good-enough rack and/or soft cargo combos you might recommend? This would be something I might use two or three times a year at most. Thank you.

I have a great solution for you. As far as the CargoSmart Soft-Sided Car Top Carrier - Water Resistant - 15 cu ft # CS94FR, it does require crossbars in order to transport it on your 2013 Kia Soul with a bare roof so instead I recommend a bag that can be attached to a bare roof as that will be the most cost effective.
I recommend the Rightline Ace Jr Rooftop Cargo Bag - Water Resistant - 10 cu ft # RL100A50. This cargo bag is great because you do not need to purchase additional crossbars in order to mount it to your 2013 Kia Soul. It attaches directly into your door frame. I went ahead and attached a video to show you how it installs.
If you find that you need more space in your cargo bag, the Rightline Range 2 Rooftop Cargo Bag - Water Resistant - 15 cu ft # RL100R20 is also compatible with a bare-roof setup.
