How do I open it to replace the lamp?

The housing of the Optronics # ST47RB lamp is held together by two screws that are accessed from the rear of the lamp housing. Once the screws are removed, the lens can be removed from the housing and the 1157 bulb, part # DI79VR can be replaced.
An LED version is available as part # M824R. The LED lamp uses less power, will be much brighter and will last up to 50 times longer than a comparable incandescent lamp.
