Is There a Way to Install a Slide Out Awning With an Obstruction Directly Next to the Flange

Just wondering how you install on a slide that has no extra space beside the flange due to an awning arm

When installing a slide out awning like the Solera RV Slide-Out Awning # LCV000165061 you need to have 7" of clearance on each side. If you do not have 7" of clearance then you would need to order the next size down until you can have 7" of clearance. More than likely what will end up happening is that you will only have partial coverage of your slide out due to the awning arm interfering. You would be able to cover the center section and the outside edges of the slide out would most likely remain exposed. It is not a perfect scenario but could still help limit the amount of debris on your slide out.
