Can The Excel RV Tankless RV Water Heater Be Mounted Outside Of The RV

I have a 5th wheel camper i want to add a tankless hot water heater to, i want to keep the existing unit in place and add a tankless unit just for the shower. is this unit made to be mounted outside? Does it have freeze protection?

The Excel RV Tankless On-Demand Water Heater # EX93FR is not meant to be mounted outside but can be mounted pretty much anywhere inside of your trailer with the exception of a bedroom or bathroom. It just requires 3" of clearance on the sides and 8" of clearance above.
It does not have freeze protection but it does have an ODS in place that will not allow unit to operate unless ventilated with adequate oxygen levels.
