Stealth Hitch for a 2018 Volvo V90

Question:

I am looking for a trailer hitch for my 2018 Volvo V90CC. The only one showing is the Stealth. Does the different configuration of this hitch preclude you from using weight distribution bars?

You are correct there is only one hitch available with towing capability for your 2018 Volvo V90 and it is the Stealth Hitches Hidden Trailer Hitch Receiver w/ Towing Kit item # SH67FRT. This hitch does not work with weight distribution systems. It does have a maximum gross trailer weight of 6,000 lbs and a maximum tongue weight of 500 lbs. This hitch includes a wiring harness to provide your Volvo with a 7-way connector, and it includes a ball mount with a 2" ball.

If you need a brake controller I recommend the Tekonsha Prodigy P3 Trailer Brake Controller item # 90195. This is a proportional brake controller that works with trailers having up to 4 axles. The brake controller activates your trailer brakes in proportion to your vehicle's braking action.

You will want to check your Volvo's owner's manual for the actual towing capacity and tongue weight of your vehicle.
