What Parts Do I Need to Tow My 2017 Ford C-Max on The Roadmaster Dolly # RM-2050-1?

I am looking to get the RM-2050-1. this dolly for my 2017 Ford C-Max. Do I need anything else to make all this work, e,g wiring, brake connections etc?

When looking at the Roadmaster Tow Dolly # RM-2050-1 for your 2017 Ford C-Max, you need to have the proper wiring harnesses, plug, a brake controller, and a ball mount/ball with the proper height.
To set up your tow vehicle with the proper wiring, it needs to have a 7-way installed. For that harness, I recommend the Universal Installation Kit for Trailer Brake Controller - 7-Way RV and 4-Way Flat # ETBC7. With this harness, you have the setup needed to add the brake controller. On the dolly's end, you need the 7-Way Round RV Style Trailer Connector - Trailer Side # A7WCB in order to plug in the dolly to the # ETBC7.
For a great brake controller, I recommend the Curt Echo # C51180. The Echo not only comes with a super easy installation process, but it also allows for you to adjust and monitor the brakes from the ease and comfort of your smart device.
The last thing to consider is the ball mount and 2-inch ball. Roadmaster recommends that the height of your ball mount must be 18-20 inches high off the ground. I went ahead and attached a diagram that shows how you can determine how much rise or drop you need in the ball mount.
