Best Trailer Sway Control System for a GMC Yukon Denali with Self Leveling System

Question:

The Yukon has a self leveling system so we can not measure to the top of the wheel well for sag. The trailer is GVW of 4000 and tongue weight of 375. We were told we did not need anything special to travel with the trailer but today it started swaying and we almost ended up in an accident. Please help us a model and complete installation. Thanks

For your situation, I would recommend install a friction sway control bar like the Reese Friction Sway Control, # 83660. Since your 2011 GMC Yukon Denali does not sag due to the self leveling system, a friction sway bar would be an excellent way to reduce sway without having to install an entire weight distribution system.

To use a sway control bar separately from a weight distribution system, you will want the Reese Sway Control Bracket, # RP26003. This bracket will attached to your existing ball mount to provide the additional ball hole for the sway control bar.
