Question:
Proper orientation for maximum strength?
asked by: Mike
Expert Reply:
The Snap-Loc E-Track Tie-Down Anchor # SLSS will have the same break strength and safe working load limit no matter what the orientation is when installed. The maximum load (break strength) is 3,000 lbs and the safe working load limit is 1,000 lbs. You will want to follow the working load limit and make sure not to exceed 1,000 lbs. More importantly, make sure the anchor is installed in a location that can handle the weight and uses the appropriate hardware like the # SLHCBDS-P.
I have attached a review and installation video for your reference.
