PopStep Gap Guards, Pup Step Edition, block the see-through gaps between RV steps that can feel scary for dogs and distracting for people. Closing those spaces takes the uncertainty out of the stairs, making them easier to see and safer to use.
Open gaps between RV steps can affect footing when stepping up, especially when you're carrying gear or moving quickly in and out. PopStep Gap Guards block that open space, giving your foot a more solid place to land and helping prevent slips or awkward missteps between steps.
For pets, open stair gaps can be confusing or intimidating, especially when they can see straight through the steps. By blocking that opening, the gap guards help pets feel safer using the stairs instead of hesitating, slipping, or refusing to climb.
Each panel seats into the lip of the upper step and rests on the step below. No tools or permanent modifications are required, and the steps still fold normally when it's time to move.

Hi, everyone. Steve here with etrailer. Let's take a quick look together at the PopStep GapGuard for the MORryde StepAbove 23 1/2 inch wide, and the Lippert SolidStep 24 inch wide four-step steps. So folks, obviously it's a four-step. You're only getting three of these because they're covering in between those steps. You only need three.
So make sure you're paying attention to that whenever you're ordering these, and make sure you're getting the right ones for the right steps. Now, what these are doing, they're blocking that open space between the steps. It's gonna improve footing when you're stepping up. It's gonna help our four-legged friends because it's gonna reduce fear, hesitation, those kind of things that can often be caused by those open gaps, and pets just don't like walking through those open gaps. Now again, these are designed for those MORryde StepAbove 23 1/2 and Lippert 24 solid step four-step systems.
It's just a big piece of rubber, quite frankly, and it just goes right over that gap in between the steps. It hangs in place, it literally pops in without the use of tools, bolts, nuts, screws, or anything. And it does work with the folding steps, so it's not gonna interfere with normal step operations. And these measure eight inches tall whenever they're installed by 23 1/2 inches wide on the width. They're easy to clean, you pop them off, spray them off, brush them off.
If you get snow, ice, those kind of things, for whatever reason that gets attached to them, pop them off, give them a couple of shakes, smack them on the side of the ground or something, or a tire maybe even, and it's gonna knock it off really quick and easy. Well folks, that's gonna wrap up our quick look together at these PopStep GapGuards. I'm Steven. Thanks for watching.
Easy install and reasonable price for something I was going to attempt to fabricate myself. Saved a bunch of time. Glad I found these.
Don't know if I was shipped the wrong ones but these are terrible. There's no chance they will stay on when folding up the steps. They barely hang on the stair channels and droop about 2" from the back of the stairs. If you touch them they fall off. Will return and look for something else.
Arrived in a few days, easy install. So far I like them.
