Question:
My 2021 Heartland Fuel 250 appears to have come prepped for shock absorbers but none were installed. Would this part be what I would need? What is the min-max measurement between mounting points that this would fit? Thank You

It appears the Lippert Heavy-Duty Replacement Shock # LC283280 is the correct shock for your 2021 Heartland Fuel 250 travel trailer toy hauler. This shock is rated for trailer axles that are rated from 3,500lbs to 7,000lbs. Your Fuel has 5,200lb axles which fall into that range. The shock has a 8-5/8" compressed length and 13-1/2" extended length. Your mounting brackets should sit between these measurements with the trailer level. Ideally you should see about 11" but it can vary based on loaded weight. This is the replacement shock for the Lippert Bolt-On Shock Kit # LC281281 which you can also compare the mounting brackets for.
The Lippert Standard Replacement Shock # LC283271 is only for 3,500lb trailer axles.
