Expert Reply:

A 100-gallon propane tank is four feet tall by three feet diameter. If overhang of your 5th wheel allows this height then yes. Generally speaking, 5th Wheel RV's have two 30 lb. or maybe two 20 lb. tanks on board. If this is your set-up, to add a 100 lb. tank to your current tanks system, I recommend the MB Sturgis Sturgi-Stay T-Fitting w Hose - Type 1 Valve - Quick Disconnect, Disposable Cylinder Ports # 103615. This will allow you to connect the red fitting to one of your tanks and the pigtail from that tank to the brass side of the T-fitting. Then you will use the POL side of the 6 foot hose to connect to your 100 lb. tank and the quick connect end to the T-fitting. Make sure your quick connect fitting is open and you'll be all set for using a 100 lb. tank. If you desire a longer hose, you can use the 10 foot # 100794-120-MBS. Then if you'd like to connect a grill or other appliance you can use the # 100476-120-MBS.
