Power Source of Excel RV Tankless On-Demand Water Heater

Question:
Your info and the video indicate the 2 D size cells that will run the ingnitor in the event of Power Outageinch . However, no where does it describe what that power would be. Is it 12VDC from the RV or would it be 120VAC ?

The Excel RV Tankless On-Demand Water Heater -with Electric Ignition, # EX93FR has an ignitor that is powered from the 2 D-cell batteries. That is the only power source, not an alternate.
