Since the uprights on the Thule Xsporter Pro Adjustable Height Truck Bed Ladder Rack # TH500XT allow you to adjust the height all the way to the top crossbar, it really depends on the measurement from your trucks bed to the top-most point of the truck's bed rails. Also, depending on if there are points that stick out on the side of your bed, that will keep you from adjusting the height of the rack any lower.
Even though we do not have measurements of your bed height on your 2018 Ford F-150, we do have a great video that provides you a great idea about how low you can adjust the height of the # TH500XT using a 2021 Toyota Tacoma. I went ahead and attached that video to this answer. Timestamp 1:12 of the video provides great insight about how how low you can get the rack.
