What Are The Dimensions Of the Stromberg Carlson Soft Touch Assist Handle AH-100

Question:

I have an assist door that either is same or looks very like it. See photo. I would like to replace it although it is still usable . We were side swiped by a tractor trailer in a rest area parking lot hit and run although the driver probably didnt notice. Fortunately, aside from some minor scratches that was the worst damage. My question is the full information specs say this one measures 18-12inch overall. The one on my Aliner is 18inch overall. Could you give me the exact distance between screw holes? It was professionally mounted and probably in the best way for my Aliner. In the photo, you can see it was mounted on an added aluminum plate and may have something on the other side of the wall to strengthen the anchor points. If the screw holes align it would be easy to replace otherwise I would have to take it back to my dealer.

I included a diagram of the Stromberg Carlson Soft Touch Assist Handle # AH-100, but the outside holes will measure 17" apart and the inner holes will measure 14-3/4" apart when measured center to center. This does look exceptionally similar to the handle you currently have installed on your Aliner and will most likely be the correct replacement for you.
