PD9100ALV Converter Chargers With 2-Stage Charging Function

Question:

Per Progressive Dynamics’ website, they have recently modified the design of the PD91XXALV line of converters to include a smart charging algorithm such that the unit senses when lithium batteries are charged and s the voltage output from 14.6V to a lower voltage. This will allow one to leave your rv plugged into shore power for long periods of time without damaging lithium batteries. Unfortunately, Progressive Dynamics didn’t change the part number but do include a green sticker on the newer units. Do you have these new units available as of yet?

Yes, you're correct that Progressive Dynamics started including the 2-stage charging function with their PD9100ALV line without changing the item number. I've personally ran through all of our inventory and of the available models of the PD9100ALV we currently have the Progressive Dynamics Inteli-Power RV Converter and Battery Charger 45 Amps # PD9145ALV and Progressive Dynamics Inteli-Power RV Converter and Battery Charger 60 Amps # PD9160ALV are the newer models with the 2-stage charging function.
