Question:
good morning, I have an Xterra and need to mount a cross bar on my roof rack, that this part will fit over. I was thinking about buying unistrut 1 5/8inch x 7/8 and using U bolts to attach to my round bars. can you tell me the inside dimension? Im guessing 1.5inch to 2inch wide by 1inch deep. thx.

The channel on the underside of the Replacement Bar Mount Assembly # 7521741001 is 1-1/2" wide and has a 1/2" depth. To mount the Thule Hullavator Pro Kayak Carrier # TH898 to your 2006 Nissan Xterra I recommend picking up the Inno roof rack system which the Hullavator Pro will mount directly to:
45" Inno Aero Crossbars - # INXB115-2
Inno Through Feet - # INXS150
The feet will mount directly to your OEM roof bars and give you your standard crossbars for mounting accessories.
