Question:
2013 Ford C-Max - Will the TH88VR hold a Tour Easy Recumbent?

Hey Francis,
The Thule Gateway Pro 2 Bike Rack # TH88VR has a weight capacity of 35 lbs per bike and arms spaced apart by 12" so it will be able to handle your Tour Easy Recumbent. My only concern is the length of the bike and how much wind it will catch and how that will affect the swaying of the bike.
Your best option for a bigger bike is to install the Curt Hitch # C12092 and use a bike rack like the Swagman XC-Extended Bike Rack # S64650-EXT which will secure both wheels and then has a frame hook to keep the bike a bit more stable.
