Can I Add The SpeedLink Mounting Hardware Assembly To My Thule FlatTop Ski And Snowboard Carrier

I have an older thule flat top universal 4 pr ski/snowboard rack which has brackets that look like your the Replacement Mounting Brackets and Hardware for Thule Pull Top Slide-Out Ski brackets. Can I replace those with the 13mm speedlink mounting hardware brackets for my 2022 honda pilot? Taking the rack on and off now is a pain and toolless installation would help me a lot. thanks,

I spoke with a representative from Thule and I was informed that you would have to alter your Thule Flat Top to make the Replacement 13 mm SpeedLink Mounting Hardware Assembly for Thule SnowPack Ski and Snowboard Carrier, part # 7521241001, fit your ski and snowboard carrier. It would no longer be covered under warranty. If you want the newer brackets, you will need to go with the Thule SnowPack Ski and Snowboard Carrier - 4 Pairs of Skis or 2 Boards - Black, part # TH7324B, or part # TH732508.
