Recommended Gooseneck Hitch for 2006 Ford F-350 Cab and Chassis

My trucks a 2006 f350 cab chassis . The hitch you guys are saying will fit will not fit mine. You are recommending the bwgnrk1500. That hitch requires some type of plate being attached to the frame so this hitch can attatch to it . I currently do not have any plates going to my frame anywhere’s near my rear axel. Will the regular hitch that is for a regular f350 crew cab work for me ? Since it appears to have pieces that will attatch to the frame on both sides?

The B&W Turnoverball Underbed Gooseneck Trailer Hitch w/ Custom Installation Kit # BWGNRK1108 only fits certain years of the F-250 and F-350 Super Duty. According to B&W this will not work with your 2006 F-350 Cab and Chassis frame.
The metal plate you are talking about for the installation of the # BWGNRK1500 is the bed itself. You have to have a 1/8" floor plate if you have a steel flatbed. If you do not have a steel flatbed that meets this requirement, your only option would be to use the # BWGNRC800. You would then have to fabricate cross members and plates to be able to fabricate it to the chassis frame.
