I got a 18k B&W Patriot fixed hitch. I am wanting to use it in my 2022 Chevy Silverado 2500 8' bed with no prep package. What do I need to do this?

To install the B&W Patriot 5th Wheel Trailer Hitch # BWRVK3255 in your 2022 Chevy Silverado 2500 8' bed without a prep package you just need to install some industry standard rails in the bed of your truck. For that you can use the Demco Hijacker Premier Series Above-Bed Base Rails # DM97VR. These rails are confirmed to fit your truck and will provide you with the industry standard rails you need to use your Patriot hitch.
To make hooking up your 5th wheels wiring easier you can also add the Hopkins Endurance 5th Wheel/Gooseneck 90-Degree Wiring Harness # HM54FR. This wiring harness will allow you to move a 7-way connector into the bed of your truck while retaining the use of the factory 7-way at the rear of your truck.
