Question:
Hi All, I had quite a bit of trouble with my new snow chains over the weekend, with a very tight, difficult fit and poor performance. Please help me out. Did I get the wrong size? Tire size 235 65R17, Stock # 2016C. I could close the latch without tools and two people plus 30 minutes.

I am so sorry to hear that you are having problems installing your cables! I did confirm that the Glacier Cable Snow Tire Chains # PW2016C fit your 235/65-17 tires on your 2019 Honda CR-V. Also, I see that you did purchase the correct tensioners # TCMA1.
One of the most common installation speedbumps that people encounter involve any tangling/overlapping of the chains when connecting the cables into the connection housing. In order to help with this process, I recommend turning the tires slightly toward the interior of the vehicle like our install tech does at timestamp 1:51 in the attached video. This allows you to get more access while installing the cables.
Also, another thing to consider is making sure that you use the correct amount of stops in the outside and the interior of the tire when attaching the cables together. For more insight on this process, feel free to check out the attached video from timestamp 1:57-2:46.
The cables can be attached without tools. Also, on your first attempt, 30 minutes is not an unreasonable amount of time for installation.
