Hello. will the Yakima Skinny Warrior fit on crossbars with 1-3/4inch diameter crossbars? thanks!

Judging by the measurement you provided, I assume you have round-style crossbars that are 1-3/4 inches in diameter (as opposed to aero crossbars or square crossbars). Unfortunately, I confirmed with my tech at Yakima that the Skinny Warrior # Y07014 will not fit your crossbars. This is because the Skinny Warrior is designed to work with Yakima Round crossbars like the # Y00408 which measure 1-1/8 inch in diameter.
However, for a great alternative that will definitely clamp around your crossbars, I recommend the Aluminum Roof Mounted Cargo Basket - 44" Long x 39" Wide x 7" Deep # 288-09200. This basket fits crossbars up to 2 inches tall x 4-3/4 inches wide. It also has a 150-pound weight capacity. As with all baskets, I recommend confirming with your crossbar specs and your user's manual to make sure that your roof rack and vehicle can hold that much weight.
If you are looking for theft deterrence, the best way to add security is to purchase the etrailer Cable Lock # e98891 and channel it through the basket while wrapping it around the crossbars. Also, if you need straps to transport your cargo, the etrailer Cam Buckle Straps # E98876-2 work great.
