The Mounting Adapters for Surco Safari Rack 5.0 Rooftop Cargo Basket - Yakima Roof Rack # SPY400 is only designed to be used with a Surco Safari Rack 5.0 Rooftop Cargo Basket and is 3/4" to fit the square tubing of this basket; it is a replacement part for the Safari 5.0 Cargo Basket # SPS5060-Y400, # SPS4550-Y400, # SPS4560-Y400 and # SPS5084-Y400.
This adapter is made for round Yakima crossbars which are 1-1/8" diameter such as # Y00410
