For your 2021 Mazda MX-5 Miata, we have the Curt Trailer Hitch # C11435. This is a class I trailer hitch, that has a maximum towing weight of 2,000lbs, and a max tongue weight of 200lbs.
If you're needing wiring, we have the Curt T-Connector # C56300. This is an easy to install, plug-and-play harness that will plug into your vehicle's factory wiring harness. Wiring is needed to be able to provide lights to your trailer while driving, that was you're compliant with the law and for safety.
Finally, you may need a ball mount to complete your setup. If so, I recommend the Reese Trailer Hitch Starter Ball Mount Kit # RP7043000. This kit comes with a ball mount that has 3/4" of rise, and 1-1/4" of drop, a hitch pin and clip, and a 2" ball.
