I want to add a brake controller to my 2022 Mercedes GLC, what do you recommend?

Expert Reply:
For your 2022 Mercedes-Benz GLC I recommend the Redarc TowPro Elite # RED44FR. This brake controller will keep the interior of your GLC clean, by exposing only the control knob when installed. Which is almost completely out of the way, but it is much smaller than a standard brake controller.
Additionally, you are going to need to add a 4 way trailer connector # C56496, if you do not already have one. This wiring kit only will work if you do not have the premium package. If you do have the premium package, you'll need # C59236.
Finally, to complete installation, you're going to need a 7 way # ETBC7. To connect this kit, simply plug the existing 4 way flat into # ETBC7 and run the black wire as a 12v hot lead, the blue as your electric brakes, yellow to reverse lights, and ground the white wire.
