Can 4 Step RV Steps be Replaced with 3 Step RV Steps

we have a 2022 Grand design 320 MKS fifth wheel, can we convert our MoRyde 4 steps to LIPPERT 432696 ALUMI-TREAD MANUAL RV STEP - 3 STEPS, looks like the brackets and step well is there but would only have to trim metal skirt?

You can definitely use the Alumi-Tread Manual Pull-Out Step # LC432696 as a replacement for your 2022 Grand Design. The mounting bracket dimensions are 27-1/2" wide x 16" tall x 12-3/16" deep though so if that doesn't match what you currently have and you're okay with making some modifications to your trailer you'll be good to go. If the mounting bracket dimensions you have are different then you'll need the Outriggers # LC301704 to mount the steps.
Something to keep in mind is that if your current system has 4 steps and you replace it with a 3-step setup you'll have to make a pretty big first step. The 3-step setup is for an entry height of 24-1/2" so if you have a taller entry height than that I recommend going with the 4-step setup # LC432698 for a 30-3/4" entry height instead.
