Question:

Good afternoon, I need a roof rack and a Thule medium size cargo box recommendation for a 2022 Kia Telluride. There aren't any rails or tracks on the roof. Thanks for the help!

I'd recommend a Yakima JetStream roof rack. The rack provides aero-style crossbars which offer less wind resistance than round or square crossbars, and would be much more quiet.

You can assemble the roof rack using these parts:

• 60 Inch JetStream crossbars part # Y00426 or silver as part # Y00429
• Yakima BaseLine towers, part # Y28TR
• Vehicle Specific fit clips, part # Y06125 and # Y06165 (different clips are used for the front and rear crossbar)

A Thule cargo box would be compatible with the 3-1/8 x 1 inch profile of the crossbars. The Thule Pulse, part # TH615 would be an excellent mid-sized roof box option. The box has a 16 cubic foot capacity and can accommodate 6-8 pairs of skis up to 181 cm in length or 4-6 snowboards.
