I have a great platform solution for you. Unfortunately, I confirmed with Yakima that they have not confirmed a fit of the LockNLoad Platform # Y05045 on your factory crossbars on your 2022 Toyota 4Runner.

With that being said, Yakima also has not tested the fitment of the LockNLoad to your rails if you remove the crossbars from the setup. This is because manufacturers often do not test these applications because their reasoning is you will always use your factory crossbars with any application. For this reason, we have no way of confirming that the Timberline towers Y00147 will work with your setup.

However, Rhino-Rack comes to save the day! They actually have tested a similar platform that can be used if you completely remove the rails from your 4Runner. For that application, you need the following parts:

- Rhino-Rack Pioneer Platform Roof Tray - Aluminum - 76" Long x 49" Wide # RR45TB
- Rhino-Rack Backbone Mounting System for Pioneer Platform # RRRT4B1

This system is extremely low profile and is similar to the LockNLoad. This system will give you 220 pounds of maximum weight capacity. As with all platforms, I recommend confirming with your vehicle's owner's manual to make sure your roof can hold that much weight. For adding additional accessories such as bike racks and kayak carriers, you will need the Accessory Bars # RR43137B.
