Question:
Where is the brake controller?

Expert Reply:
The brake controller port on a 2021 Ford F-150 (if equipped) will be located behind the coin tray in the center console. This will be accessed by removing the panel under the steering wheel. I have attached a video which shows this below. For a brake controller, I recommend the Tekonsha Prodigy P3 Trailer Brake Controller part # 90195 with Tekonsha Plug-In Wiring Adapter for Electric Brake Controllers part # 22292.
Please note, you may not have power to the controller when first plugged in and in which case you may need to install fuses into the engine bay fuse block (see owner's manual). If you don't have pins where the fuses are located the controller will need to be hardwired.
