Question:

Does this hitch part # still have a 3500 weight rating? My 2019 kia soul has no tail muffler, a 2 inch lift kit and a 2.4 ltr. I called etrailer and customer service said that hitch was reduced to a 2000 pound gvw.

The EcoHitch Hidden Trailer Hitch Receiver item # 306-X7326 is rated for 300 lbs tongue weight and 2,000 lbs towing weight like what our customer service rep would have told you. It looks like the online owner's manual for your 2018 Kia Soul say not to tow with this vehicle though so the tow weight reduction shouldn't be affecting how you use the trailer hitch.

If you're in the market for a bike rack then I recommend taking a look at the Kuat Transfer V2 # KU84FR because it has an elevating U-Shaped frame that makes it easier to load and unload bikes.
