The etrailer Trailer Hitch Receiver - Custom Fit - Matte Black Finish - Class III - 2" # e98840 will fit your 2019 Honda Pilot but the receiver tube will block the sensor in just that area. This is a very common issue and just requires you to do a little bit of testing by moving your foot back and forth on either side of the receiver tube until you find the sweet spot for the sensor.
If you plan on towing a a trailer with your Pilot you'll also need a trailer wiring harness. For this I recommend the T-One Vehicle Wiring Harness for Factory Tow Package - 4-Pole Flat Trailer Connector # 118760. This custom-fit T-One connector plugs into your vehicle's wiring harness, which is in your rear cargo area, on the driver's side. You will have to remove the floor covers, cargo trays, and some interior paneling to access this harness. Once you've plugged in the connector, you will have to route the harness through the jack storage compartment to the center of your vehicle. Afterward, locate the fuse box under your hood and insert the provided fuses.
Once installation is complete, the 4-way connector will be stowed beneath your vehicle, near the trailer hitch. A mounting bracket like # 18144 is recommended to keep the connector secure.
For a great starter ball mount kit I recommend the etrailer Ball Mount Kit for 2" Hitches - 7,500lbs # 989900. This kit comes with both a 1-7/8" hitch ball and 2" inch ball for multiple applications. It has a 1" or 3" rise and 2" or 4" drop to help keep your trailer level while towing.
