Question:
I need to get my new 2022 Highlander Hybrid set up to tow a little trailer. It has a 4 prong wiring plug on the end and a 2 inch ball hitch. So I will need wiring, a hitch, and a ball mount. I think I have the ball mount figured out though and am looking at the Curt C45155 since it is an all in one kit. What do I need and will this ball mount work for my car? Thanks.

We definitely have what you need to get your 2022 Toyota Highlander Hybrid set up to tow your trailer. To start with, you will want the etrailer.com Custom Fit Class III Hitch # e75ZR. This will require no drilling for the install and I included an install video we have of it being installed on a 22 Highlander for you to check out. It is a little bit of work to get everything done properly, but not overly so and the video will definitely help.
Next you will want the Tekonsha T-One Vehicle Wiring Harness # TK99FR Tekonsha makes the longest lived wiring harnesses out of the brands we carry and with it being a plug and play option, it will be a quick and easy install.
The Curt Fusion Ball Mount # C45155 is definitely a nice option as it does include everything you need, but I do recommend double checking the height of the coupler on your trailer before going with it. The # e75ZR hitch will sit at 16-1/2" tall, when measured from the ground to the inside top of the receiver opening, so the 2" rise with the ball mount will put you ar 18-1/2". You do have +/- 1-1/2" of play, but if your coupler measures anywhere from 17" to 19" from the ground to the bottom of the coupler opening, it will be a great option.
