Question:

Moving my Tekonsha brake controller to my new 2022 Dodge Ram 1500. Is there an adapter so I can just plug this right into my truck or do I have to splice wires together?

To install a Tekonsha brake controller on your 2022 Ram 1500 you will just need the Wiring Adapter # C51458. The gray plug will connect to your vehicle under the dash and then you'll cut off the black connector and splice it (per color) to your current Tekonsha pigtail.

If you plan on still using the brake controller with your old truck when you need to then you might consider picking up another mounting bracket for your Ram. For example, the Prodigy P3 # 90195 would use the mounting bracket # TK5906.
