Question:

Hello Need to replace equalizer on 38 Heartland Bighorn. 7K axle with LCI Trailaire and looks like 34 axle spaceing. Horizontal bolt holes are about 6.5 ..looking at Dexter EZ Flex K71-653-00. Is this the proper model for this application? Thanks

The Dexter E-Z Flex Suspension Kit # K71-653-00 is the correct kit for your Heartland Bighorn. It is rated for use with axles up to 8,000lbs. This kit will include all new wet bolts, shackles and bronze bushings to replace any nylon or damaged bushings you have in your suspension system.

I do recommend using LubriMatic LMX Industrial Strength Grease # L11390 with all the wet bolts and equalizer. This grease is specifically designed for use in high stress and wear applications. And it will not absorb water or wash away when driven in wet conditions.
