Thanks for the quick reply....another question..... Still related to my 2018 Honda Fit.....I need a hitch/tray bike carrier that weighs under 30 pounds so that I, a small woman can handle it. Which is why I was hoping there is a ONE BIKE carrier that will work with fenders, hatch access, has locks, etc. Other suggestions....thanks.

You would want to consult the owners manual of your 2018 Honda Fit for the tongue capacity but I believe it to be 200 lbs., which would mean the Swagman Chinook Bike Rack # S64683 which weighs 47 lbs. will work with your 2018 Honda Fit as long as you have a hitch (this bike rack fits a 1-1/4" or 2" hitch). If you are still needing a hitch, the Curt Trailer Hitch Receiver # C11406 is a confirmed fit for your 2018 Honda Fit and would allow you to use the Swagman rack.

The Swagman Chinook Bike Rack # S64683 will work for a bike with fenders. The rack has padded hooks on ratcheting arms that hold the bikes securely by the frame and wheel straps that secure the wheels to the trays. Given this securement style there is nothing that the fenders would interfere with on this rack.

There is not a 1 bike rack available from Swagman, but the Rola Convoy 1 Bike Platform Rack # 59307 would be a 1 bike rack that would be compatible with a bike that has fenders. This is due to the ability to secure the bike by either the wheel or the fender. This rack uses a 1-1/4" hitch like the one mentioned above. The most common hitch size on the 2018 Honda Fit is a 1-1/4" hitch, but if you happen to have a 2" hitch then the Rola Convoy would not be a great option for you.

Thank you for the additional information regarding what you need in a bike rack. With that information in mind, I have a great bike rack option for you. The Malone Runway Bike Rack # MPG2149 is going to take care of all of your concerns. This rack has a tilting function that will allow you to have access to your hatch even with the bikes loaded. It is a frame mount rack so it will work with a bike that has fenders and features keyed alike locking knobs on the sliding arms to deter the theft of your bike. This rack also only weighs 32 lbs. which is the lightest rack that we have that features locks and tilts for access to your hatch. This will fit in a 1-1/4" hitch or 2" hitch. If you want to lock your bike rack in your hitch to deter the rack from being stolen you can use the Anti-Rattle Hitch Lock for Malone Cargo Carriers or Bike Racks # MPG2174.
