I need to install a hitch and wiring on my Toyota Highlander 2022 so I can tow a small trailer. What do you recommend?

I recommend going with the etrailer Trailer Hitch # e75ZR and Tekonsha T-One wiring, part # TK74FR if you have the tow package or part # TK99FR if you don't have the tow package, for your 2022 Toyota Highlander. You'll also need the mounting brackets # 18144 and # 18140 to give it a nice, clean look.

I really like the etrailer hitch because it is not only hidden but it also has the matte black finish that does a great job at matching the trim on your Highlander as well as hiding any scratches that might happen from road debris. The Tekonsha wiring is the best and most reliable on the market which is why I recommend going that route.

Since you plan on towing I recommend checking out the Curt Towing Kit # C45534 which comes with everything else you need to round out your towing setup.
