Is the Redarc Tow-Pro Elite Trailer Brake Controller Compatible With 2021 Ford Ranger

Question:

Can I use the RedArc elite? I have predictive cruise and Fords version of the brake assist. Ford uses this brand on their parts website, but it’s a bit more expensive. I have the tow package and the pre-wiring. I’ve heard, but not read anything official about this set up with the options on my truck that I listed. Any advice is much appreciated!

Yes, you can use the Redarc Tow-Pro Elite Trailer Brake Controller # RED44FR on your 2021 Ford Ranger with the tow package. In order to install the brake controller in your truck you will need to hard wire it in.

This brake controller allows you to mount the main unit out of sight with the knob mounted in the dash. The knob allows for quick and easy adjustment and also functions as a manual override. It has a colored LED for diagnostics. This is a proportional brake controller so it will automatically adjust braking based on the deceleration of our vehicle.
