Can You Wire A Separate Central Heating Unit To An Advent Air Conditioner
Updated 12/06/2021 | Published 12/04/2021 >
Question:
How do I wire a central heat unit using the Advent thermostat? I wired it per instructions and when I set the Advent to activate the heater the A/C fan comes on. Will I have to use the old Thermostat? I have a new Advent 15000 BTU A/C unit which works well.

For your Advent Air RV Air Conditioner # ACM135 you'll want to ensure that your air distribution box also matches your AC unit. Advent does not allow for mixing and matching different components. So, if you have an Advent AC you're going to need an Advent air distribution box as well like # ACRG15.
Additionally, you are going to want to check with your wiring once again to ensure you have wired it correctly.
