For your 2022 GMC Terrain I recommend going with the Curt Trailer Hitch Receiver # C77FR. This is a class III hitch capable of hauling up to 4,500lbs GTW with/without a WDS.
To go great with your hitch, I recommend getting an adjustable ball mount like # BW44FR. This ball mount comes with a 2", and a 2-516" ball capable of towing up to 10,000lbs.
