Question:
Can you tell me the difference between Shocker Impact and XRC? I am looking for smoothest ride and smallest dimensions for a mid-size SUV. Also, the dimensions as measured from center of receiver pin hole to the bottom of the hitch measured with the cushion side up? Thank you!

The Shocker Impact Cushioned Draw Bar Mount part # SHK28RR was intended more for farm applications since it has a ball mount platform with a 1 diameter ball hole that gives it more flexibility for "farm life" where you could use hitch balls or other types of clevises or hooks.
The Socker XRC part # SHK37RR on the other hand is more geared for the average tower since it has two hitch balls on either side of the platform. The ball sizes are 2 inch and 2-5/16 inch. The cushioning is the same between the two and really comes down to how much flexibility you'd want/need.
